tonight I Totally Recalled a childhood memory
spent two whole summer breaks on the Swedish West coastrough and rocky shoressea anemones cutting the skineleven/twelve years old
so scared of the deep and dark Atlantic waters (as they say: you won’t be merry on a North Sea ferry)especially Phaeophyceae made me nervous - lurking down therecrabs hiding beneath
the rough cliffs steep and vertical into the water, so dark and deepI didn’t dare to jump

the funny thing is
next summer I just walked straight out on the scariest cliff and dove straight down into the Seawithout an ounce of hesitancyinto the deep and darkwith all the now harmless and stinking Phaeophyceae - the silly crabs running in panic
all days that summer -divingsnorkelingfloating in a rudderless rubber raftgetting burned by jellyfish of the nasty kindalmost started a forest fire Summer Solstice eve
and falling in love, at a distance,with the beautiful girl Michaela,only remember she had long black hairbut the courage failed me that timestill waiting for her
